Looking for something different?

OKA's goal is to offer a sustainable, cruelty-free alternative without toxic chemicals, phthalates, and PVC.

OKA offers vegan leather accessories made from the prickly pear cactus, a highly sustainable plant fundamental to Mexican culture that contributes to soil regeneration and stability.

Why did we choose nopal and why is it a sustainable material?

  • It saves large amounts of water since it does not require irrigation.
  • Improves the biodiversity of the region
  • No chemicals such as herbicides or pesticides are used
  • When harvesting the nopal, the cactus remains unharmed
  • Encourages the agricultural sector to plant more cacti
