How did the OKA project begin?
In the summer of 2020, I had an idea I just couldn’t let go of. I wanted to dive into something connected to sustainability, social impact, and my love for Mexico.
After much reflection, I realized I wanted to bring together my love for Mexico and my ecological vision through fashion. I’ve always believed that the future of fashion and design must be both Mexican and sustainable.
So, I decided to go all in. I brought together talented artisans, designers, and an amazing team to make this project a reality. After a year of hard work, our project was finally launched on February 10, 2021.
Today, we are present in more than eight concept stores across Mexico, with online sales, different marketplaces, and even Liverpool. With over 3,000 sales, six collaborations with incredible brands, certifications from the UN, sustainable entrepreneurship conferences, and countless friends made along the way, the journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Of course, it wasn’t easy. There were tough times and heavy workloads, but it was all worth it. OKA is the result of dedication, passion, and teamwork. It represents something truly incredible for all of us. We want to prove that it’s possible to create fashion with Mexican style while caring for the environment.
